Clubhouse Restaurant Description:
Kevin Costner and Robert Wagner, who teamed with golfers Jack Nicklaus and Fred Couples, initially were behind this muralled spot with rich, red velvet curtains, wood trim and comfortable leather seating. Now, it's run by Really Nice Restaurants, which also is behind Nick's Fishmarket. The menu is likeable, creative and diverse---just the ticket given its mall locale. A mound of lightly battered calamari sits atop a pool of sweet-spicy chili-ginger sauce with whirls of basil oil. Another solid, if predictable, snack is the bruschetta, which melds plum and sun-dried tomatoes with basil, onions, arugula and a drizzle of sweet balsamic glaze. The burgers and sandwiches are solid, but the slow-roasted prime rib is better. Wine dinners draw plenty of regulars.
