Star Pizza Description:
We have a lot of patience when it comes to waiting 30-to-35 minutes for one of these Star pizzas. You can have them New York-style thin-crust or Chicago-style deep-dish, but rest assured that these pies are distinctly Texas-style---big, hearty and heavy on the toppings. If you're a friend of meat, you must have the Starburst Deluxe, topped with ground beef, Italian sausage, pepperoni, onions, mushrooms and green pepper. Slightly more health- and waist-conscious is Joe's Pizza, made with sautéed spinach and fresh garlic---especially good with the grainy whole-wheat crust. Star also serves bounteous salads with homemade dressings and pastas.
