This is the best churrascaria I've ever had in my life. The salad bar is just amazing, but this place is for meat lovers. The sides are also amazing.
This spacious and handsome Brazilian steakhouse decked out in light wood and limestone stays at the top of our list. This is the real thing, originating in São Paulo with its first stateside outpost in Dallas. Go light on the impressive salad bar with its tempting offerings, for the meat is the real star here. Waiters dressed as gauchos carrying huge skewers of meat whirl around the tables for an all-you-can-eat affair with one set price. Each diner is given a two-sided sign, green to indicate bring it on and red to say give me a break. The meat is cooked skillfully, each slice precisely the way you like it. Ten savory cuts include the house pride, picanha, tender rump steak with a rich garlic flavor; but all must be sampled. Enjoy robust pork sausage, chicken wrapped in bacon, and filet mignon. Not to be missed is the pork loin, sizzling with flavor and crusted with Parmesan. Side dishes brought to the table include wonderful cheese bread and yucca. Still hungry? Head back to the salad bar for black beans and rice or grilled asparagus. The wine list is fine; but we suggest you add a real glow to the experience with a caipirinha, a sweet-tart Brazilian cocktail.
