Cabo Mix Mex Grill Description:
Cabo doesn't exist to feed the masses. The huge second-story terrace of the casual island-style eatery is more popular as a watering hole, where urban singles gather after work to catch the sunset glistening off the surrounding skyscrapers before cruising downtown's after-hours scene. They come for the potent margaritas made from fresh-squeezed lime juice, as well as screwdrivers and salty dogs made with fresh orange and grapefruit juices. The menu, cleverly called Mix-Mex, hypes fish tacos, spicy, grilled and supposedly like those found in Cabo San Lucas; but there are better ones around town---and better items on the Cabo menu. Instead, start with the roasted corn and hot pepper soup and move on to chicken enchiladas with black beans and rice, another specialty of the house. Cabo also serves grilled mahi mahi and blackened snapper. For dessert, try the Key lime pie and the intriguing Mocha Toffee Seduction.
