Brenner's Steak House Description:
Everything at Brenner's is à la carte, from the varied, top cuts of beef to the table-size servings of sautéed mushrooms, rich creamed spinach and German-style skillet potatoes. The tender center-cut filet mignon or the juicy 16-ounce New York strip is best paired with a salad of beefsteak tomato and Roquefort or a classic iceberg wedge. But you can't go wrong with any of the options---though an appreciation for hearty eating does help; witness good fried chicken, along with swanky red snapper with lump crab meat and Australian rock lobster tail. The wine list has been smartly updated and Brenner's also conducts wine dinners. We think the obvious choice for dessert is the apple strudel, a tradition here. Check out the garden area with waterfalls and a gazebo---perfect for receptions or special events.
