Cyclone Anaya's Description:
The original Cyclone Anaya's opened in the 1960s by a professional wrestler who fought under the name Cyclone Anaya. It closed, but reopened near Washington Avenue in a contemporary metal building with a cozy outdoor patio. Avoid fancier menu items like lobster enchiladas and costillas (rack of baby-back ribs). Stick with the tried-and-true Tex-Mex, such as ceviche, carne asada, spicy chile con queso, enchiladas verdes and fajitas. Betsy's tamales, topped with chile con carne, yellow cheese and raw onion, also hit the spot.
