Eric's Description:
Even though it's a training ground for cooking students, not to mention a hotel restaurant, Eric's fares well in Houston's highbrow culinary scene. Named after the son of hotelier Conrad Hilton, the restaurant is actually a reincarnation of its former self, which made a less-than-stellar debut. The restaurant offers all-day casual dining, serving healthy American cuisine with some international dishes ranging from South American to those with a Mediterranean flair. Desserts include a lighter-than-air strawberry napoleon, sprinkled with a powdered sugar-cocoa topping.
