If you only want to eat and enjoy the view, the best time and place for a reservation is in the late afternoon on the terrace where you'll enjoy expansive views of the white sand beach, gentle surf and unforgettable Hawaiian sunsets. The menu is full of unique and interesting island flavors that include kalua pork pizza, calamari katsu and a riff on the traditional Hawaiian plate along with a rather unexciting list of pastas and steaks. Forgo the beef and pasta for another time and place and be sure to select something from a long list of fresh island fish entrées that includes opah and seafood salsa with jasmine rice or the macadamia nut-crusted mahi mahi.
