La Gelateria Description:
This back-street gelato and sorbet factory is the real deal---Italian-style ice creams and sorbets in an ever-changing assortment of amazing flavors, including apple, pear-Champagne, lemon basil and hazelnut-chocolate. This is primarily a wholesale business. Owner and resident artist Maurice Grasso has retired, but the shop carries on under new ownership with Kenwei Chong. Not your typical gelato shop, La Gelateria sells primarily to restaurants, but they will gladly welcome walk-in customers to their warehouse-shop.
