Heidi's Deli and Bistro Description:
Heidi's is a real local favorite, and it's easy to see why. The folks in this small bakery/café/take-out counter are friendly, and the food is quite good: croissants, breads and muffins plus sandwiches, especially the roast turkey with pesto mayonnaise, bell peppers and capers. Fine chili and Portuguese bean soup too---and if you happen by on a Tuesday, be sure to get the creamy corn chowder. Service is quick for busy downtown customers and prices are reasonable.
