Hank's Haute Dogs Description:
Who would have thought that the man who mentored more famous chefs (Rick Tramonto, Gale Gand and Grant Achatz to name a few) would "retire" to Honolulu and run a gourmet hot dog stand? Well, it's true. Though parking is sparse and the location across the street from the Volvo dealership isn't uptown, the dogs are exceptional. A duck and foie gras dog is on the menu, but we love the kimchi-flavored Portuguese sausage with mustard and grilled onions. Don't forget an order of the hand-cut double-cooked fries.
