Steaming bowls of pho (noodles), with choices of meats, are the namesake draw, served with the traditional sides of bean sprouts, basil leaves, jalapeños and lime. That's the order of the day at Pho Que Huong, which sits off a busy highway laced with ethnic eateries. You can't miss with any of the rice noodle bowls topped with your choice of meats, shrimp or tofu. The banh mi (sandwiches) come stuffed with Vietnamese ham or char xiu pork plus thinly sliced cucumber, cilantro, jalapeño, shredded carrots and white radishes---a quick meal. The banh xeo (Vietnamese omelet) has a generous stuffing of pork, shrimp and bean sprouts spilling out. Another option is com dia (rice platters) with various meats including grilled pork chops, Cornish hens or diced eye round steak. Or opt for a whole tilapia fried crispy and topped with tomato sauce and cilantro. Finish with a Vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk.
