Rat Hue Description:
A Vietnamese restaurant specialising in recipes from Hue in central VN.
They translate the name as "Truly Hue".
Situated in an alley off Le Thanh Ton, near the Ben Thanh market, it has a quiet removed sort of feel as you approach and enter, but inside is as rowdy and deafening as any other crowded VNese eatery. Seats about 30 downstairs, as well as another 16 or 18 on rafier mats on the floor upstairs. That mezzanine deck roof is too low for a tallish Westerner to stand up, which is maybe why there are only low tables and no chairs.
