Sixteen years after the first ever Roy's opened in Hawaii Kai, Oahu finally gets a second location---this time on the West Side, at Ko Olina Golf Club. Overlooking the lagoon, faux waterfalls and 18th hole of the resort's golf club, the restaurant features Roy's signature open kitchen and, unlike the original Hawaii Kai flagship, serves lunch. The familiar Roy's Classics are on the menu---seafood pot stickers, ahi poketini, mahi mahi in lobster-butter sauce---but executive chef Michael Leslie adds his flair to the daily specials. And the Hawaii Kai location's great wine list, tailor-made to pair with dishes like Szechuan baby back ribs, can be found here. Looks like Hawaiian Fusion cuisine's star isn't dimming any time soon.
