Woody's Description:
Over the years this unassuming mom-and-pop eatery acquired a reputation for making some of the best dogs in the area---grilled all-beef foot-longs on buttery toasted buns. Though owners Gary and Cindy Wood---whose Floridian background explains the Miami Dolphins memorabilia that occupies almost every inch of Woody's walls---have given the place an overhaul, Woody's devotees needn't fret. The dogs themselves are as good as ever, only now you can enjoy them in a colorful array: the St. Bernard Dog boasts brown mustard, Swiss cheese and sauerkraut; and the Hawaii 5-0 Dog comes with ham and pineapple. The menu also provides for those who have had their fill of wieners: grilled cheese sandwiches, fish 'n' chips and garlic fries serve as caloric preludes to the sinful climax that is fried dough with powdered sugar and cinnamon.
