This is one of those all-American sorts of places that never seems to go out of style. It could probably be called Hartford's melting pot since the loyal clientele includes a mix of students, neighbors, artists and suits who fell in love with the place during their college days. The dining experience can be a bit quirky, with waitresses who are doting and forgetful at the same time or inexplicably long waits for a plate of eggs. But this kind of thing just seems to add to the Timothy's lore.
