Maggiano's Little Italy Description:
The fare is less than exciting at this big, noisy and bustling outlet of the chain, but it is reliably good and freshly made. Among the appetizers, crispy zucchini fritte served with lemon aïoli cream is notable. Simple dishes are among the best offerings with linguine and white clam sauce being a satisfying pasta, heavy on the clams and delicate on the sauce. Some dishes are offered family-style, which makes for lots to eat at budget prices. There's even a gluten-free pasta for guests who have an allergy to wheat. Maggiano's doesn't spare the horses on anything, and that goes double for the dessert selections; among the tempting treats find chocolate zuccotto cake, homemade profiteroles, spumoni (the signature dessert) and caramelized bananas. The wine list is limited but fairly priced, and service, although not polished, is efficient.
