Little Thai Kitchen Description:
Warm yellow walls, natural wood tones, forest-green carpeting and simple white tablecloths define the twenty-seat dining room at Little Thai Kitchen. Though the space may be small, the Thai menu is not, serving all the traditional spicy and not-so-spicy Thai favorites ranging from grilled meat satay appetizers and shrimp tom yum soups to crispy duck salads and meats with rice dishes. The Thai minced chicken with cashew nuts and lettuce roll is a good beginner. Follow this with the garlic eggplant and asparagus entrée---Chinese-inspired flavors work well with these two vegetables. Then spice it up with the gang ped yang, a spicy duck sautéed in red curry, coconut, pineapple and basil. For sweet contrast, finish the meal with a signature Thai dessert---a sticky rice flavored with mango that will at once refresh and cool down the palate.
