Greenwich Lobster House is a family-friendly restaurant with an upscale tavern feel and a menu that reels in the daily catches. A cozy cabin-style setting with stone walls, wood panels, bench seating and blue and white checkered tablecloths creates a comfortable feel. A working fireplace adds warmth and atmosphere when dining in winter. The New American menu offers a wide selection of classic seafood and other fare. Appetizers range from raw clams and shrimp cocktail to calamari and scallops. Entrées include a very reasonably priced steamed one-and-a-quarter-pound Maine lobster served with truffle flavored fries and string beans, and a filet of sole stuffed with crab and lobster accompanied by jasmine rice and steamed asparagus.
