Parking:

Parking Location: Main parking for events is behind Dana Auditorium. Other spaces are available in front of Dana Auditorium, along the athletic fields and at the Frank Family Science Center parking lot (located at the Arcadia Drive entrance to campus).

Season Parking Gate: There is no season parking gate available.

Parking is complimentary on the Guilford College campus and is subject to availability. Overflow parking is located across Guilford College Road at New Garden Friends Meeting and is also complimentary.

Public Transportation:

Mass transit directions: The Greensboro Transit Authority (GTA) maintains a stop nearby Guilford College at the intersection of High Point Road and Patterson Street. Route 7 - Friendly Avenue
Serving Center City Park, Friendly Shopping Center, Friends Home West, Guilford College, Greensboro Mental Health Department, Greensboro College, Guilford County Courthouse, Melvin Municipal Office Building (City Hall), Wesley Long Community Hospital.

Dana Auditorium Admission Policies: All persons and items entering Dana Auditorium are subject to inspection. For patron protection, the following items are prohibited from being brought into Dana:

Alcoholic or other Beverages
Artificial Noise Makers
Audio or Video Recording equipment
Cameras with lenses larger than 4”
Bags or Backpacks (larger than 10”x 8”x 8”)
Beach Balls
Cans, Glass or Metal containers
Coolers (unless containing medical supplies)
Diaper Bags (unless accompanied by a baby)
Fireworks or any Explosive
Folding Chairs
Food and Beverage
Helium Balloons
Illegal Drugs
Knives of any size
Laser Pointers
Lighters
Matches
Pets (except service animals for the disabled)
Promotional items with commercial identification
Tape Recorders
Weapons of any description (weapons carried with a permit are also prohibited)
Signs, banners, flags or any other items that would either obstruct the view of a patron or serve as a dangerous projectile or security risk.

Other items that, in the judgment of management, pose a safety risk or diminish the enjoyment of an event by other guests shall also be prohibited. When a prohibited item is discovered after a patron enters the facility, the item shall be confiscated and disposed of, the patron may be ejected from the facility, shall be denied re-entry and ticket price will not be refunded.

Consent Inspections: Guests are subject to consent inspections upon entering Guilford College facilities. Consent inspections may involve metal detectors. Patrons refusing to follow entry policies will not be admitted.

Dress Code: Shirts and shoes are required to be worn at all events at Dana Auditorium.

Guest Services: House staff are available to assist with questions, problems, suggestions or special needs related to events. House staff circulates throughout the Auditorium and lobby.

First Aid: There are no first aid stations in Dana Auditorium.

Lost & Found: Lost and found items may be claimed by calling 336-316-2852.

Re-cycling: Guilford College is dedicated to protecting our environment and to sustaining the quality of life for all citizens of Greensboro. Recycling containers are located outside of Dana Auditorium. Patrons are encouraged to deposit all empty aluminum cans and bottles, newspapers, and empty plastic bottles in the designated recycling containers to assist in recycling efforts.

Driving direction to Dana Auditorium - Guilford College:
I-85 South / I-40 West From Burlington or Durham Area: Take I-40 west/I-85 south toward Greensboro/Winston-Salem. Stay on I-40 west past the split with I-85 south and Business 85 south, and take I-40 to Exit 213 (Guilford College/Jamestown). At the end of the exit ramp turn right onto Guilford College Road. Go approximately 2.2 miles until you reach Friendly Avenue. The campus will be on your right.

I-85 North From Charlotte: Take I-85 north to Exit 87 (U.S. Highway 52 toward Lexington/Winston-Salem). Take Hwy. 52 north to I-40 east. Take I-40 east toward Greensboro to Exit 213 (Guilford College/Jamestown). At the end of the exit ramp turn right onto Guilford College Road. Go approximately 2.2 miles until you reach Friendly Avenue. The campus will be on your right.
I-40 East From Winston-Salem - Take I-40 east to Exit 213 (Guilford College/Jamestown). At the end of the exit ramp turn right onto Guilford College Road. Go approximately 2.2 miles until you reach Friendly Avenue. The campus will be on your right.
Highway 220 North From Asheboro - Highway 220 North to Greensboro turns into Freeman Mill Road. Stay on Freeman Mill Road, crossing I-85. Take I-40 west to Exit 213 (Guilford College/Jamestown). At the end of the exit ramp turn right onto Guilford College Road. Go approximately 2.2 miles until you reach Friendly Avenue. The campus will be on your right.

Highway 220 South From Virginia: Take Highway 220 south (which becomes Battleground Avenue in Greensboro) and turn right onto Westridge Road (McDonalds is on your right). Go 2.5 miles to the end of Westridge Road and turn right onto West Friendly Avenue. The college's main entrance will be 1.1 mile on the right (just before traffic light at Guilford College/New Garden Road).
Through Town Directions from Piedmont Triad International Airport: Leave the airport and turn right onto Bryan Boulevard following detour signs. (Please follow the detour signs to get to the re-routed Bryan Boulevard due to Airport expansion.) Take the Fleming Road exit. At the end of the exit ramp, turn right onto Fleming Road. Fleming Road becomes New Garden Road. At the next light, Arcadia Drive, the campus will be on your left.

Highway Directions from Piedmont Triad International Airport: Leave the airport and turn right onto Bryan Boulevard following detour signs. (Please follow the detour signs to get to the re-routed Bryan Boulevard due to Airport expansion.) Turn left onto the New Bryan Blvd. toward Highway 68 South. Follow 68 South to I-40 East. Go under the bridge and take I-40 East to Greensboro. Take I-40 east to Exit 213 (Guilford College/Jamestown). At the end of the exit ramp turn right onto Guilford College Road. Go approximately 2.2 miles until you reach Friendly Avenue. The campus will be on your right.
