Plae Bistro Description:
Owner Jill Bassett's concept was to create "A place to eat and laugh"---a fun, friendly bistro with the culinary aspirations of contemporary American cuisine like that found in New York. Bassett, a Green Bay native, ran with the concept, creating Plae Bistro. Here, diners can try creative fare that includes cilantro-flecked, tequila-citrus chicken pasta or grilled, apple-Brie-stuffed chicken breast, topped with caramelized onion and cherry sauce. There's also a pleasing selection of sandwiches, including an ahi BLT on toasted whole-wheat with roasted garlic mayonnaise. We also favor the Gorgonzola-peppercorn buffalo burger on warm French bread. For drinks, choose from a wide selection of wines and beers, and specialty drinks like the Milky Way latte made of espresso, chocolate, caramel and vanilla with whipped cream, caramel and a chocolate swirl. There are also signature martinis and mojitos to help keep the fun going.
