Hopcat Description:
HopCat is located in the heart of Grand Rapids' bar district, and it prides itself on being the number one place to get a beer. It has 48 different beers on tap, one hand-pull keg, and over 150 bottles (most of them craft beers or microbrews). Food-wise, the offerings are all over the map. Choose from burgers, sandwiches or dip platters, or veer toward mussels, bratwurst, fish, meatloaf, salad or chili. Vegetarians and vegans can get their fix, too. While the downstairs area is hardwood-laden and non-smoking, the upstairs smoking lounge is plush with couches, sleek black tables, and even its own planetarium show.
