Brightly colored mosaic architectural columns stand out in San Chez's dining room, and deep blue and terra cotta table accessories remind guests of a sunny Spanish beach. San Chez is bright, cheerful and noisy, so it may not be the best place for intimate conversations. It used to be you had to tolerate the lively atmosphere in order to enjoy the restaurant's authentic Spanish cuisine. But San Chez merged its menu with that of its sister restaurant next door, Mezze. If intimate conversation is more to your liking, head to Mezze; if a little noise doesn't bother you and people-watching appeals to you, this is your spot. You'll find a wide selection of Spanish tapas, traditional paella, chorizo and fish preparations. Vegetarians, vegans and those with food allergies will find lots of dishes prepared to their liking. Wash it all down with a good sangría.
