Absynthe Restaurant Description:
Very upmarket French and Modern Australian restaurant with a fully licensed bar and cocktails. The French fare is more modern than anything and the Australian is very upper. The internationally-known chef-owner cooks only some of the time and has a resident chef in the restaurant.
Absynthe also has 2 bakeries on the Gold Coast: one in the
Circle on Cavil and one in Nerange. Sells direct to the public with baked goods and cakes.
The restaurant is located underneath the Q1 building (the world's tallest residential building as of June, 2008).
