Tara Thai owner Nick Srisawat, with his sixth Thai restaurant open and serving, has created a mini kingdom of Thai food in the DC area. Popular for its democratic approach to this Asian cuisine, this and its sister Tara Thai restaurants appeal to a broad cross-section of the dining public for the reliably and consistently prepared dishes, neither too hot nor too bland. We swear by the honey duck, the various rice noodle dishes, the red duck curry, and the young coconut pie, but can always find plenty more on the menu to satisfy a Thai food craving.
