Wow, that's unfortunate "another bad experience". Most restaurants policy is that if you order beer, or other alcoholic beverages, you have to order dinner as well, not just appetizers. I've been to Snooty Fox six times, when I have come in from NY for business, and have experienced absolutely wonderful service. It seems really weird why you and your friends experienced such a difficult time!

Guess you shouldn't go in large groups. We had a party of 8 show up and order some appetizers and beer. After the appetizers were finished another round of beer was ordered, and the designated driver showed up and ordered a water. We were asked to leave because we were "loitering" Hadn't even poured one glass from the second pitcher. When we complained, the Manager told us there was nothing he could do. Guess they don't want the business of large thirsty groups. I suggest the Lunar Rogue, much better service.

I had a terrible experience when I was told by the hostess and the manager on duty that I was being "rude" by asking why it was taking so long to seat my party. We saw many people who came after us be seated before we were. I don't think under any circumstance that the customer should be called rude (even if they were, which I was not). This is an distasteful place and I don't recommend it to anyone. Spend your money somewhere where the staff will actually respect you.

Just went to The Snooty Fox last night and was TOTALLY disappointed. I have dined there before and thought it was okay but when I waited for an hour and a half for my food my opinion changed. The food was pretty good but when the issue of waiting for an hour and a half for food with out any service from staff was mentined to management it was shrugged off. His response was "I wish there was something I could say to make you feel better but we are busy". I was there with a party of eight and had reservations so I fail to see how it could be shruugged off like that. The icing on the cake is that we watched several other people come in after we had ordered and they ordered, ate and left before we received our food. And, I never did receive my drink.
