Ernie's Bar-B-Que Description:
Try Ernie's conch chowder, thick with chopped vegetables and conch bits and highly spiced with cayenne pepper. There are hamburgers, salads and a Philadelphia-inspired cheesesteak (thinly sliced beef grilled with onions and cheese) served not on an Italian hoagie roll but on Bimini bread. That traditional Bahamian white bread, light and fluffy with a sugar-glazed bottom, comes with most dishes and it's perfect for sopping up juices. The meaty St. Louis ribs, with a peppery, thin sauce, are neither too delicate nor the least bit sugary.
