Les Chefs de France Description:
Three of the most famous chefs from France---Paul Bocuse, Roger Vergé and the late Gaston Lenôtre---created this bustling Epcot eatery with the lively atmosphere of an authentic brasserie along the Rue de Seine. The cuisine retains its allegiance to the celebrated owners, but there are no surprises on the menu. All the classics are there: escargots, pâté, onion soup, beef Burgundy and other homogenized (but decent) fare. Still, it's a good place to practice your French with the charming waiters and enjoy a glass of wine. Bocuse visits from time to time, but the cooking is left up to the staff of chef Bruno Vrignon, who trained with Bocuse in Lyon. You'll most likely find Vrignon in the smaller upstairs kitchen of the more formal Bistro de Paris, a smaller dining room where the food is better and prices escalate. Good French wines and traditional desserts---crème brûlée, profiteroles and crêpes---complete your immersion.
