Reflections Description:
Here's one of the best views of the beach, if you can get a table near a window. The menu puts an emphasis on Florida favorites---seafood, pasta, a few red meat selections. If your timing includes a sunset, seafood seems a must to accompany the pastel light show, so try the fish of the day which almost always includes grouper (in season) and salmon. One fresh touch is the rock shrimp pappardelle (sautéed rock shrimp, andouille sausage, crawfish, green onions, garlic, tomatoes, baby spinach, fresh herbs and wide noodles tossed in a tomato sauce). Not a fan of seafood? Try the chile-rubbed grilled NY strip elevated by roasted pepper and garlic compound butter and served with puréed Yukon Gold potatoes fragrant with white truffle oil. For dessert, try the fried banana split or the turtle cheesecake generously drizzled with caramel sauce. The hotel restaurant accommodates guests with breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as with special buffets. The hotel also has a poolside bar and a beachside tiki bar.
