Zampa Description:
This small, cozily decorated restaurant will make you feel like you're right at home. Chef Julie Di Tursi cooks while her husband Cory McPhee greets and pours locally crafted wine, beer and spirits suited to the regional cuisine. The sweet ginger ribs are from a local farm and the Fontina steamed mussels come with just enough crispy focaccia for dipping into the spicy broth. Pastas are made fresh in-house as in the duck walnut ravioli, and be sure to try the hand-cut pommes frites with a selection of creamy aïolis for dipping. Even the sloppy Joe with tomato-simmered pork and beef carries the tastes of the season.
