Once Egypt had a great civilization where even temples were built for honouring animals. Now they build places for debasing animals. And Lion Village is one of the worst.

Yes come to Lion Village and apart from seeing dogs in small cages outside without food or water you can also see your favorite deer or whatever you fancy being slaughtered in front of you ! Not because they are blood thirsty but because it proves the meat is fresh ? You can also witness Lions and other exhausted animals suffering in cramped conditions . So be warned it's not for the faint hearted . Tourists have left this despicable place in tears vowing never to come back to Egypt after witnessing such torture to wild and domestic animals alike .
