Hong Huynh continues her stylish cooking, enabling the menu that is substantially different from the original Chamblee spot; the Dunwoody dishes blend the main influences that have shaped modern Vietnamese cooking, including Thai and French. Thai inflections come in the salads, based on green papaya, mango and apple, which may be savored with or without a meat or fish choice, and topped with roasted peanuts and fried onions. Not only nutritious, they are elegant and delectable, and make great foils for grilled meats. French influences nudge the aromatically seasoned, tender Saigon-style short ribs, and the lamb stew packed with vegetables. Grilled meats adorn rice noodles as the mainstay of the menu. Desserts are limited. The wine list makes a stab at pairing food and wine, but could be so much more interesting without busting anyone's budget; there is a Riesling offered, but it's quite ordinary.
