This romantic spot does its best to evoke the dining room of a Northern California winery, from the handsome wood trim to the light fusion menu and pricey wine list.
It's not just the name: The wood-and-stone simplicity of this American-style restaurant can almost make you believe you're in one of the most beautiful spots in California rather than in Georgetown. The spare, flower-bedecked dining room is a good place for an intimate lunch. Try the tart of spinach and crab meat or one of many salads, pizzas and sandwiches. The crowd gets lively after 8 p.m., when there's more variety and greater heft in the dinner menu that includes Asian-influenced seafood dishes, lamb, chicken and steak entrées. The wine bar features mostly California wines, with at least 20 by the glass, available in two- or five-ounce tasting flights.
