Lodo's Bar and Grill Description:
This expansive brick-and-mortar downtown location covers all of the bases, from business lunch stop to full-fledged restaurant and late-night schmooze room. The fare is several steps above the usual LoDo hangout stuff, too. The open-armed menu includes juicy burgers and wholesome sandwiches, an army of fried pub fare and some upscale entrées. We like the pasta dishes for their big-portion value. After dark the place caters to the pub crawling set, attracting crowds of twenty- and thirty-somethings who drink from Lodo's long list of mainstream and craft beers. The spirits selection is nice, too. In warm weather the house features its greatest attraction, an outdoor upper deck that delivers awesome views of the majestic mountains to the west.
