Dover Downs Description:

Parking:

On site to right of hotel facility. $ 10 fee. (signage will be posted). Accessible parking available. Parking in the south parking lot can be accessed through the Main entrance to Dover Downs Slots off of US Route 13. Designated lots will open 8/15 at 7am and will close one hour after the concert has ended. Any vehicle still parked in the designated lots two hours after show ends will be towed at owner's express.

Public Transportation:

DART buses
No shuttle service - Route 1 south to exit 104. Make left at traffic light. Venue approx 1.5 miles on left.

General Rules:

No coolers, food, alcoholic or non alcoholic beverages permitted. 5 x 7 blanket per 2 people in Festival area or small beach chair ( 1 per person). No pets, tents, canopies, shade umbrellas, flags, banners, or signs, caution tape, wooden or metal stakes or the like to designate your seating area, no lounge chairs, knives, or other weapons motorized vehicles such as ATV, golf carts, scooters and bikes. No video or audio recorders permitted. Dress casual. Smoking permitted. Upon entering the concert area, all patrons must have a ticket to exchange for a Wristband which must be worn at all times. If your wristband has been removed or tampered with, it will be considered invalid and you will not be allowed to enter again.

Miscellaneous:

Dover Downs has a capacity of 20,080. The physical set-up is as follows: Blue section - reserved seats
closest to stage - Red section - reserve seats 2 sections from stage - Yellow section - reserve seats - 3rd section from state - Green section - open seating on grass area.
There are restaurants located at the facility. Food and beverage will be available for purchase inside the concert area. There are restaurants located inside Dover Downs Slots. Driving direction to Dover Downs:
From Baltimore, Washngton or Richmond VA via the Chesapeake Bay Bridge:
Take US 50/301 across the bridge. Follow US301 north to Maryland Rt 302 ( turn right at mile marker 102). Turn right on Maryland 454 at Templeville. Route 454 becomes Route 8 at the Delaware state line. In Dover, turn left on US 13 North. Dover Downs is approx. 2 miles on right. Dover is about 50 miles from Bay bridge.

From South of Chesapeake Vay via Chesapeake Bay Bridge:
Take I-64 West to Richmond, the I-95 north to the Washington Beltway (I-495 North). Take I-495 North to Route 50/301. Take Route 50/301 east over the Chesapeake Bay bridge. Follow US 301 north to Maryland Route 302
(right turn at mile marker 102). Turn right Maryland Route 454 at Templeville. Rote 454 becomes Rout 8 at the Delaware state line. In Dover, turn left on US 13 north. Dover Downs is approx. 2 miles on the right. Dover is about 50 miles from the Bay bridge.

From areas south of the Chesapeake Bay via Bridge-Tunnel:
At Norfolk, cross the Bridge-Tunnel and follow US 13 north.

From Baltimroe or Washington via Interstate 95:
From I695 ( Baltimore Beltway), take I-95 north to exit 4A. Take US 1 to exit 104. Turn left at the light and Dover Downs is 2 miles on the left.

From areas served by the Penna. Turnpike:
Take the turnpike east to the Valley Forge exit, then US 202 south to US 13 South. Follow US 13 South to the split with Rout 1 south. Take Route 1 south to exit 104 ( $.50 toll/axact change only at night. Turn left on US 13 south. Dover Downsis approx. 2 miles on your left. Dover is 70 miles from Center City Phila..

From Phila. or Trenton:

Alternate route from Phila and Trenton:

Take the New Jersey turnpoke south to Delaware Memorial bridge. Take 95 south to exit 4A. Take Route 1 south to exit 104 ( $.50 toll/exact change at night). Turn left on US 13 south. Dover Downs is approx 2 miles on left. Dover is about 45 miles from Delaware Memorial bridge.
