Parking:

Limited free parking is available adjacent to the Art Institute. Visitors can park in Downtown Dayton (fee) and ride the Miami Valley RTA #12 bus. Catch the bus downtown along Fifth Street or Main Street. Additionally, visitors may find parking in the neighborhood surrounding the Art Institute.

Public Transportation:

Visitors can park in Downtown Dayton and take the Miami Valley RTA #12 bus to the Art Institute. Catch the bus along Fifth Street or Main Street downtown.



Driving direction to Dayton Art Institute:
The Dayton Art Institute is located just across the Great Miami River from Downtown Dayton and is easily accessible from Interstate 75.

From the North - Take I-75 south to the Grand Ave exit (54A) and proceed through the light. Take the next left at Forest Ave. Follow Forest Ave. around the front of the Art Institute and go right on Belmonte Park North.

From the South - Take I-75 north to the First Street/Salem Ave exit (53B) and turn left at the light. Proceed across the bridge to the first light (Riverview Avenue) and turn right. Go through the next light at the next street and turn left up the hill onto Belmonte Park North. The Art Institute and free parking are on the right.
