Tei an Description:
A U-shaped bar and discreet tables allow for a Zen dining experience with no distractions but the food and drink. Soba noodles in various incarnations dominate the menu: soba salads, dipping soba (cold and hot) and soba soups, but udon, tempura and rice items are also offered. There's the thin and crispy kisu tempura for a starter, and every table needs an order of the buckwheat risotto with shimeji mushrooms, buckwheat, bacon and white cream sauce. Duck soba consists of Tokyo onions, tender duck breast and a flavorful broth. For a sweet sayonara, most indulge in the green tea flan made of organic eggs, green tea maccha and milk.
