Sal's Description:
It doesn't look like much from the outside (or on the inside, for that matter), but this always-packed Italian joint and pizza parlor dishes out good food delivered by friendly servers. The New York-style pizza is baked until the thin crust is crispy, bubbly and blistered, and there are plenty of traditional ingredients to lob on top. The kitchen also turns out a slew of old-fashioned red sauce pastas, including shrimp Parmigiana baked in tomato sauce and sprinkled with Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses. Loaded submarine sandwiches make for an equally filling meal.
