Kuby's Description:
When you're in the mood for good, basic German food, you can't go wrong with Kuby's. Owned by the Kuby family who emigrated here from Germany in the 1950's, Kuby's has been serving up its house-made sausages, potato pancakes and schnitzels for many years. Weisswurst, weinerwurst and bratwurst are almost exact replicas of what you would find at any gasthof in Germany. Sit at the counter at breakfast over a generous portion of potato pancakes, do a little eavesdropping on the regulars and you'll find out everything that's going on in the neighborhood. Hearty lunches, washed down with at least one German beer, are great on a chilly day. Dinner on Friday and Saturday nights come complete with an oompah band. Be sure to browse around the deli and grocery store section before you leave for a treat to take with you.
