Three Forks Description:
Billing itself as serving "Texas French cuisine," III Forks is a steakhouse that resembles what a demented Texas oilman might build as a Dallas palace, adding a little of the Taj Mahal just to make it extra fancy. And that's just the outside. Miles of oriental carpets, mahogany bars and white linen tablecloths tossed together with dozens of antler chandeliers and enough western artwork to fill a museum adorn the inside of this 900-seat restaurant. III Forks is all about big: big steaks, big lobsters, big wine list and big bills at the end of it all. Best known for serving only Prime beef, the fresh seafood department is none too shabby. Go for the show, the sheer size of the place guarantees a satisfactory meal but rarely an outstanding one.
