Terra Nova Description:
This Wyndham restaurant has one of the best locations for pre- or post-dinner dining or cocktail lounging while visiting the Renee and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall. And while the glass structure sits almost directly across the street, the best view here is from the restaurant's patio, which overlooks a charming lake and fountain. The martinis are refreshing and strong, so that might be a good way to start off the night. The coconut shrimp appetizer is crisp and flavorful, although the rest of the starters don't thrill so much. The menu is a mélange of some comfort-food pastas and then a smattering of contemporary California fare. On the weekends, dogs and their human companions hang out on the patio to nuzzle up and nosh on good buffet brunch fare.
