Mi Casa is a lively spot in the Newport-Mesa area for classic Mexican-American dishes, chips, salsa and margaritas. Groups of guys, couples and families flock here for the festive atmosphere and huge combination plates filled with refried beans, spicy rice and classics like tacos, tostadas, enchiladas, chile verde, chile Colorado and carne asada. Although not open until 11 a.m., Mi Casa still serves up some breakfast specialties like huevos rancheros and chorizo and eggs.
