The elegant setting and impressive service set the tone for a menu founded on traditional French cooking techniques. Though it's neither terribly varied nor adventurous, the loyal clientele loves it for the steady hand it shows in the kitchen. Try the lobster: the seasonally changing preparation is often a highlight. We also approve of the chef's penchant for two- or three-way entrées, showcasing his versatility---as with a duo of rabbit that pairs Parmesan-crusted leg meat with Serrano-wrapped roast loin.
