Modeled upon the type of hunting lodge you might have expected to find on the prairie around the turn of the last century---think lots of wood, stone and strewn fur pelts---the place is all too popular in the here and now, so prepare to play the waiting game and hold onto the vibrating pager dispensed at the hostess stand during peak hours. Once you're seated, however, a civilized yet family-friendly experience awaits. Start with a trip to the fresh, bountiful salad bar---but show some restraint, because the kitchen doesn't skimp either. We like the big, juicy gulf shrimp, be they slow-baked in garlic butter or marinated and mesquite-grilled, but the stars of the show are always the thick, juicy steaks. With its made-to-order omelet station, carving buffet and Belgian waffle bar, its arrays of salads and desserts and more, more, more, the Sunday brunch is also a wildly successful spectacle.
