Confetti! has a menu that is as much fun as the name, by turns adventurous and accessible. The appetizer section alone includes everything from four different types of fried calamari to baked escargots to the fine shrimp cristi wrapped in shredded phyllo, pan-fried until golden and served with a lemon beurre blanc. It's also offered as an entrée, along with the oft-ordered and reordered sesame-crusted ahi, served over Thai peanut salad with crispy noodles. Unfortunately, execution can range as widely as the menu itself---and the service is spotty as well.
