Christiania at Vail Description:
The Christiania Lodge is a unique and special place to stay. In this age of Vail Renaissance, where many properties are being replaced with large corporate hotels, the Christiania remains one of the only true ski lodges in Vail. Located just a block east of Bridge Street in Vail Village, the Christiania is a small European inspired lodge that is both warm and welcoming. Our 22 rooms and suites were renovated in 2007, and feature European furniture and woodwork. Ski right into our backyard during the ski season. The Vista Bahn chairlift is just out our back door. Our ski valet will store your skis and put your boots on the boot dryers while you head upstairs to Sarahs Lounge, one of the best apres ski spots in the village. Helmut Fricker still entertains once a week with his combination of Austrian songs, jokes and stories of Vail history. Head out to our heated outdoor swimming pool/hot tub, relax in our sauna, or check your emails through our complimentary wireless Internet. In the morning, start your day with our large continental breakfast before heading out to the slopes. Summer guests will find the same relaxed charm, and will enjoy the walk through Vail Village shops and restaurants as well as the Ford Amphitheater and Betty Ford Gardens. The Christiania Lodge is the perfect place to relax on your vacation, and our friendly staff is here to help you get the most out of all that Vail has to offer. Please note the following fees continental Breakfast USD 7.50 per person, parking in the summer USD 10 a day, parking in the winter USD 15 a day, humidifier rental USD 15 a day.

From EGE 36 E1. Start out going NORTHWEST on N AIRPORT RD toward US 6. 2. Turn RIGHT onto US 6. 3. Enter next roundabout and take 2nd exit onto GRAND AVE/US 6. 4. Enter next roundabout and take 3rd exit onto EBY CREEK RD. 5. Merge onto I 70 E toward DENVER.6. Take EXIT 176 toward VAIL. 7. Enter next roundabout and take 3rd exit onto S FRONTAGE RD E.8. Turn RIGHT onto VAIL VALLEY DR.9. Turn LEFT to stay on VAIL VALLEY DR. 10. Turn RIGHT onto HANSON RANCH RD.11. End at 356 HANSON RANCH RD on the LEFT.
