Alba Osteria and Enoteca Description:
Alba is the successor to Full Moon Grill, which opened in 1992.
Over thirty years of traveling throughout Italy, owner Rick Stein became enchanted with the Piemonte region, particularly the beautiful towns and rolling hills of an area known as the Langhe. Langhe in the local dialect means ridges, which link the many hillside vineyards, often shrouded in mist, that produce Barolo, Barbaresco, and Barbera, among Italy's wines.
Alba, the principal town of the Langhe, is the home of Ferrero Chocolates and the truffle market. This lovely medieval city, along with the surrounding area's beautiful landscapes and warm and generous people provided the inspiration and name for our restaurant.
