Pizza and beer---a foolproof comfort combination after a hard day at work. You can bring the kids or meet with your boys for watching the Broncos on the tube. The pies here are fairly good, middle-of-the-road versions that are consistent but neither thrill nor offend. The broad selection of Italian offerings walks a similar tightrope. Calzones, spaghetti platters and other old-country entrées are respectable but won't make you cry for your Sicilian mother-in-law's cooking. Need a beer? The place pours dozens of draft suds from Bud and Miller to local and national microbrews.
