Okay, so it's not so appealing to anyone but the parents of teenage boys to know that Fazzini's sells homemade pasta very cheaply by the pound with a choice of eight sauces. That is, until you discover that the white clam sauce is more than passing good and the pizza's even better. You can even go whole hog and order house-made lasagna, chicken Parmigiana or shrimp fra diavolo without breaking the bank. Plain-faced and crowded though Fazzini's may be, it is a perfectly fine place for anyone---with or without future linebackers in tow---seeking shelter on nights when cooking is out of the question, but purse-strings demand moderation. Go early or risk a wait and bring your own wine.
