Marotta's Description:
No bigger than a hallway, the long, narrow space features only about ten tables. Warm earth tones, large plants and low-lit chandeliers set the tone for Marotta's home-style Italian fare. Start with the tender artichoke hearts, lightly battered and fried to a golden brown. For your next course, move on to a pasta. The linguine with Gulf shrimp in a lemon, white wine and garlic sauce sings; among the half-dozen entrées, we suggest the veal saltimbocca. Marotta's offers an Italian-only wine list representing most regions of Italy. The 300 label selection features highly sought after vintages such as the 1997 Brunello di Montalcino and the 2000 Barolo.
